All That Glitters Ain't Gold

So a couple of weeks back, we went out for dinner with some of the beautiful ladies from work for Izzy's birthday (Yes, I am now 20 years old! 10 more years until I turn 30!! :O)

Anyway, the girls definitely came dressed to impress, but in this post we're going to focus on their accessories.

Statement Necklaces
This is Yolanda, she went for a classic LBD (Little Black Dress) which certainly showed off her assets, but added a pop of colour with her vibrantly coloured necklace which also matched her lipstick. To be a statement piece the item doesn't have to be big, as you can see even this sliver of colour brings this outfit to life.

Pearly Collars
Miss Chika is representing a more smart/casual look for the evening. She gave off a classic vibe with this outfit but added a twist by choosing a bright coloured peplum top, rather than going for the "safe" colours. She then accessorised her outfit with a pearly white collar, emphasising her classic look but giving it the more modern twist. Pearls are an easy way to make an outfit look classy, they're simple but effect.

Strappy Heels
This is Bisma, who donned an all-black outfit for the evening, keeping it sexy, sleek and sophisticated. Bisma loves to dress up (as seen in previous posts) and the best accessory she had with this outfit was her combination sandal heels from Zara, which were only £29.99!!
These heels are definitely a winner this year, as seen on Rihanna and many other celebrities. They are simple yet stylish, and don't hurt your feet or purse at the end of the day.
These type of heels are all over the high street now, and so far Zara, Topshop and ASOS have the best selection so far. They are a good staple piece to have in your wardrobe and worth the investment.
