Bright Lights and GoldxCity

Hey guys!
Last month we slacked on the blogging but we'll be sure to keep them coming this month.

So I think it's safe to say that spring may actually be upon us, and with brighter weather comes brighter clothes!
Over the past few weeks I've made some pretty cool purchases that will definitely be fitting for S/S trend. This season I am in love with white! And plan to do an all white outfit soon, so look out for that.

Reversible Scuba Clutch (£12) from & Other Stories
I had been in search of a suitable clutch bag for a while, but wasn't too sure exactly what I was after, then I saw this one and it was love at first sight!
It's definitely proved to be popular, and I have had a few people asking about it. I would say it's definitely worth the money and the fact that it is reversible means I can play about with it more - I could go bold one day with the purple and subtle one day with the black - (Two bags for the price of one!)
This bag also comes in two other colours - Pine Green/Purple, Apricot/Black. Check it out here...

Neon Green Card Holder (£5) from Topshop
This was an impulse buy on one of our blogging (really "shopping") days. We were looking through Topshop when the neon colour caught our eyes. It's proved to be a popular accessory, a while to jazz up your standard card holder. I use mine as an Oyster/Ticket holder - my old one was very plain and ordinary, and was starting to look a it used, but now I can wave my card holder high, and have no problem finding it in my bag since it's so bright!

Air Max 90s (£94.99) from Office/Offsping
I had been on the hunt for some new trainers for a while, I wasn't too sure what I after but then when I saw these in Offspring I knew they had to be the new edition to my trainers collection. This S/S it's all about bright colours, and I have been in love with with this bright yellow which has dominated most of my wardrobe, but my new colour is orange!
I like the fact that the orange isn't too bright, and was made subtle with the white and grey tones. You can see how I rocked them on my Instagram (the link is on the homepage)

Heeled Sandals (£29.99) H&M
Originally, I saw these in H&M's Spring/Summer magazine and actually wanted the blue ones. However, a few weeks back we went to the H&M flagship opening in Oxford St. and the only had the pink ones in stock, but that didn't matter because the pink version grew on me, and I ended up buying them! What pushed me more, was the fact that H&M were giving 25% off for their shoppers that day, so I couldn't really justify leaving them on the shelf for someone else to flaunt on their feet, I had to get them.

Extravaganza Loafer (£65) from Office
So if you didn't already know I work in the show shop Office. Every six months we have to pick shoes as part of uniform (not bad for work uniform right?...) It took me a while to pick a pair but when I tried these on they felt right. I was hesitant at first because they never tickled my fancy in brown and black, but when I tried on the white, they complimented my skin tone nicely, which I liked and were also pretty cool on!
An alternative to these, which I love but are highly fashionable are these Captive Loafers by Jeffery Campbell for £130 (can be purchased at Office)

Kathleen Jacket - black leather with perforated detailing (£50) Monki
Beanie - pine green (£8) River Island

These are yesterdays purchases I made, which were both discounted!
I had been eyeing this coat from Monki over the past two month but yesterday I learned it definitely pays to wait. We walked into Monki and they had an offer going on - 50% off all their jackets (the offer is still going on online, and most likely in stores)
So I managed to save £25, which I was very pleased about because I have no limit and tend to spend a lot of money on clothes and end up having a hard time explaining to my mother where all my money has gone at the end of the month.

My second purchase was a pine green coloured beanie hat from River Island. The beanie trend has been around for a while now but bright coloured ones are a must for the summer, especially with the unpredictable weather here in the UK.
River Island had a two day student event offering 20% off (only happens when student loan drops, as subtle as retailers try to be with they're offers, it is a coincidence they have these offers come when the last instalment of student loan drops)
Anyway I am not going to complain about it because it worked in my favour :)

Yesterday definitely proved that it pays to wait for some things, although if you really want it you'll get it straight away.

Excuse the camera phone images, but I hope you enjoyed my finds!
