H&M Flagship Re-Launch at Oxford Street

Thursday is our blogging (more like shopping) day!

And last thursday was the re-launch of H&M's flagship store in Oxford Street. They were offering 25% off shoppers who were in the queue before 1pm. Being ones not to refuse a good offer, Libby and I made our way down and queued up. It started off calm as we waited in the queue with a few press people ready to snap the event (we managed to get interviewed by a fashion writer for Sunday Times :D )

However, inside the staff were having a mini rave in the store, sharing their excitement which they brought outside and attracted a lot more attention (even a bus driver stopped, and got out of the bus to find out more about the commotion.)

Once we got inside we checked out each of the five new floors, and the atmosphere of the shop was so different to the normal setup we H&M shoppers are used to. There was so much more colour and lights, giving it a more vibrant and happy atmosphere, opposed to the normal white backdrop. The day included a variety of entertainment, freebies and special guests like popular stylist blogger - Susie Bubble who we definitely couldn't miss with her metallic sci-fi inspired outfit. Susie curated some of H&M's pieces as suggestions to shoppers.

Libby and I definitely had one of our best Thursday's to date! Our highlight of the day was the photo booth! The festives lasted the whole weekend! We hope to attend more events like this. If you haven't already been to the new store, we highly recommend it!

After we had our fill of the excitement, we headed over to H&M's sister store '& Other Stories', which we absolutely loved. Its a more upscale version of H&M and has some amazing pieces with unique structures. Check out their site here
